Sterling silver twigs accompanied by 13 amethyst stones, set around a sterling silver unicorn sculpt set behind a portrait-cut quartz window.
 
Inspired by Peter S. Beagle's The Last Unicorn, I created this piece representing key moments from the 1982 film. Using twigs and pressed leaves cast in sterling silver, I created cathedral-style windows - partially dilapidated - to symbolize the changing world around the immortal unicorn. The unicorn, sculpted with the lost wax method, was paired with faceted quartz as a magnifying window and 13 amethyst marquis for a magical touch.
